Gustavo Eandi

Gustavo Eandi is an artist of complex forms and messages. His work has a mutant style, mixing simple subjects in highly detailed works. Drawing is his main medium of work, with which he creates images that not only deal with traditionally academic topics, but also present a significant underground essence.
Eandi’s main solo exhibitions include Disciplina (LOGO, São Paulo, 2013), Guided By Tourists (Galeria I /_, Buenos Aires, 2011), and New Bored (Atelier Vanntårnet, Kongsvinger, Noruega, 2010). Among his main group shows are Fonte (Galeria Adesivo, Porto Alegre, 2014), Lista II (LOGO, São Paulo, 2013), Além da Forma (Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz, Ribeirão Preto, 2012), Oh Hell (Insight Gallery, Los Angeles, 2012), B.C. #2.1 (Beach London, London, 2012), B.C. #2 (Mexico Project Space, Leeds, 2012), and Preguntame Como! (LOGO, São Paulo, 2011). Eandi often publishes art zines, working with significant publishers, such as the English Landfill Editions and the Australian Smalltime Books. His works are part of Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz and Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo.
